Hi Everyone!

My name is Mahika Kawale and I am a senior PR and Advertising student at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am lucky to say that I am currently taking ‘Branding of Me’, a class dedicated solely to branding ourselves (10/10 class, highly recommend).  As part of this class, we were tasked with creating a blog, so here I am, creating a blog!

For my very first blog, I think you should get to know me, yeah?

So…. get to know me! :

  • I have a daily screen time average of 8 hours and 18 minutes

  • Tiktok is my Achilles’ heel

  • That was my first time ever using the phrase ‘Achilles’ heel’ ^

  • I am a Canadian citizen despite never living in Canada

  • I have a minor in Creative Writing

  • I’ve had at least two jobs for a hot minute/year

  • I have never met anyone else named Mahika before, but I REALLY want this experience

  • Only one of the seven Mahikas I requested to follow on Instagram followed me back

  • Something I think about frequently is how emojis are like a whole other language because some of their meanings are impossible to translate into words

  • I happen to be Epipen allergic to Halo Top strawberry ice cream

  • Firefox is my browser of choice

  • Tom Holland is my Spider-Man of choice

  • I use a pencil from time to time

  • I am not 100% sure when I should end this list

  • I learned how to take a pill in 2019

  • Kombucha’s popularity in society is wild to me

  • I’m not the biggest fan of spiders, but I tolerate their existence and will continue to do so

  • I was a Trader Joes’ employee for Halloween last year

  • My life and wisdom teeth have never crossed paths

  • I have 1,442 points on my Chipotle app (¼ of the way to having enough for Chipotle merch, specifically the sandals)

  • The last thing I ordered on Amazon was a yoga mat

  • I have never lit a candle before, but am the proud owner of three

Well there you go! I would say that pretty much sums up who I am. 

I am so excited to begin my journey as a blogger. I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
